MRP-A009 Signal Blue RAL 5005

A rich signal blue to the RAL 5005 industrial standard. It belongs to the MRP-AQUA line, that is, a water-thinnable acrylic rather than a lacquer, so it is thinned and cleaned with water. It comes in a 17 ml dropper bottle and you will use it on vehicles, accessories and diorama elements that call for a strong blue.

Use

  • It is applied with a brush as well as an airbrush; it is thinned with water, MRP Aqua thinner or MRP lacquer thinner.
  • Thinned with the original thinners it dries almost immediately, and full curing takes about twelve hours.
  • After airbrushing it leaves a semi-gloss surface that takes decals, washes and filters directly.
  • A primer is not a condition, but it is recommended for even coverage.
