The resin set from the company Eduard brings precisely cast wheels with the effect of a loaded (slightly flattened) tire for models of the British Handley Page Victor bomber in 1:72 scale. The resin castings capture the fine tread pattern as well as the detail of the hubs better than injection-molded plastic and add realism to a model. It is not a model of an airplane but an aftermarket accessory for the landing gear.
The Handley Page Victor was a British strategic bomber from the family of the so-called V bombers, later rebuilt into an aerial tanker. It was a heavy machine with a massive multi-wheel landing gear, on which the effect of a loaded tire noticeably raises the impression of the weight of the aircraft standing on the ground.
Wash the wheels clean of the mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Orient the flattening of the tire perpendicular to the ground, so that it sits correctly. The tires and the hubs are painted more easily separately; protect your breathing while sanding.
The set is an accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
