This resin set precisely casts the exhausts for a model of the Westland Wyvern S.4 in 1:72 scale. It is a detail accessory for a kit, not a stand-alone model. The castings have open outlets and a finer detail than the plastic parts from the base mold.
The Westland Wyvern S.4 was a British carrier-based strike aircraft powered by a turboprop engine with contra-rotating propellers, in service in the 1950s. The exhaust pipes were a prominent feature on the sides of the fuselage, and rendering them faithfully contributes to the overall impression of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Recommended for modelers with experience of resin accessories. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The detail accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
