Yakovlev Yak-9, Stalin's Eagles, part 2, 1:72 is a set of wet decals with the personal markings and lettering of Soviet Yak-9 fighters.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second volume of the decal series devoted to Soviet Yak-9 fighters in 1:72 scale. The set of wet (waterslide) decals offers national markings, tactical numbers and striking personal and propaganda markings, including painted emblems and period lettering on the fuselages of particular machines.
The Yakovlev Yak-9 was one of the most widespread Soviet fighters of the Second World War and existed in many specialized versions, from light fighters to anti-tank machines with a powerful cannon. The aircraft often carried conspicuous personal markings and dedications, which makes them rewarding subjects for modelers.
The markings are applied as classic wet decals onto a smooth, ideally gloss varnish. The item is dipped briefly in lukewarm water and, once it comes loose from the paper, it is moved into place and settled. The large fuselage emblems in particular benefit from a softening and setting solution; the finished markings are sealed with a clear varnish.
This is a set of decals, not a model. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
