The real subject

The Lancer Evolution X is the last generation of the sharp version of the Mitsubishi Lancer, a sedan with all-wheel drive, a turbocharged engine and wide fenders. The Ralliart designation is carried by the sporting line of Mitsubishi and appears on accessories and on the markings of cars that grow out of it.

What the sheet brings to a model

Small lettering and marks are among the details on which the credibility of a finished car rests. A printed sheet manages them far more finely than a brush and makes it possible to place markings even where masking would be difficult. How many motifs the sheet carries and in what sizes is given by the manufacturer's instructions. How to apply the decals

• The base has to be smooth and glossy, otherwise a silvered veil will appear under the film.
• Before applying, check in the instructions whether these are wet decals or self-adhesive items; the procedure differs.
• Place the motif with a damp brush or tweezers and draw the excess water off with a piece of paper.
• Once dry, the whole part can be overcoated, so that the edges of the film disappear under the varnish.
• Keep the rest of the sheet dry and out of direct sunlight, otherwise the print fades.

Who it is for

The sheet will be used by builders of Japanese sedans and rally specials who want to round a model out with brand markings, or else to repair missing or damaged decals from the original kit. A model, paints and varnish are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
