A sheet of wet decals with a printed fabric pattern that imitates a hybrid plain weave of carbon and Kevlar, that is, the characteristic yellow and black structure that racing machinery uses on lightened parts. On a model it covers surfaces that are meant to look like composite without your having to paint them laboriously. The manufacturer lists the sheet in 1:24 scale, but the density of the pattern is usable in 1:12 and 1:20 as well, because what decides is the size of the weave, not of the car.
The ground has to be smooth and glossy; on a matte one white patches will form under the film. Coat the part with gloss varnish, cut the decal somewhat larger than the area and, once it is settled, shape it with a softener. On curved surfaces cut the pattern into several pieces and run the overlaps where they will be lost. Watch the direction of the weave, because on a real part the fabric does not run at random, and overcoat the area at the end so that the edges of the film disappear.
The decal is an accessory, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
