An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Sikorsky CH-54A Tarhe heavy transport helicopter in 1:35 scale by the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. This edition moreover contains a universal external pod (a transport container), which was hung under the bare beam fuselage of the machine. It is a large and striking model of its kind.
The CH-54 Tarhe, nicknamed the flying crane, is a heavy helicopter with a lightened beam fuselage and no conventional cargo cabin. It carried cargo, hardware or the universal pod itself slung under the fuselage. The machine proved itself in transporting heavy loads, in recovering damaged hardware and as a flying crane for oversize loads.
Finish and paint the glazed pilots' cabin before closing it, mask the glazing and glue it on after the painting. Assemble the lightened lattice structure of the fuselage and the rotor blades carefully. The universal pod can be hung under the fuselage as an effective scene. Join the parts with a thin liquid cement, treat the surface with primer and apply the paints with an airbrush; refine the weathering with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
