Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from ICM captures Red Army infantry from the opening period of the Second World War. The set contains three figures - one officer and two soldiers in winter gear. The figures suit dioramas of the Eastern Front in the early war years.
The set refers to the Soviet infantry of 1939 to 1942 in its winter form. Long greatcoats or quilted winter clothing, ushanka caps and period equipment were typical of this time. The early war years differed from the later ones in equipment as well as insignia.
Cut the parts from the sprues, clean up the sprue gates and the mold lines and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; glue the small parts such as the hands, the weapons and the equipment separately. Paint the figures with a brush - the faces and hands with a layering technique, the winter greatcoats and clothing in muted shades with a fine wash in the folds. Round a winter scene out with a snow effect on the boots and the lower part of the clothing. Mount the figures on a temporary stand while you work.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
