Kit of the German command half-track armored personnel carrier Sd.Kfz.251/6 Ausf.A in 1:35 scale from ICM. The box additionally contains crew figures, so the model offers a complete command vehicle scene. It is injection-molded plastic with a well-detailed drivetrain.
The Sd.Kfz.251/6 was the command version of the well-known Hanomag half-track carrier, adapted as a mobile command post for senior commanders. The vehicle carried additional radio equipment and served to direct units in the early part of the Second World War. The Ausf.A version is the earliest production version.
Finish and paint the interior of the fighting compartment, which is clearly visible in the open body. The crew figures bring the finished scene to life. For weathering the vehicle use washes and pigments with mud and dust effects, and paint the surfaces with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
