Soviet drivers (1979-1991) in 1:35 is a set of two unpainted plastic figures from the Ukrainian maker ICM.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Ukrainian maker ICM contains two figures of Soviet military drivers from the late Soviet period, that is, roughly the years 1979 to 1991. The figures are molded in hard plastic and are an ideal accompaniment to military vehicles of that era in 1:35 scale. This is a set of figures, not a vehicle model.
Drivers and vehicle crews are part of what brings any diorama to life. The figures capture Soviet soldiers in the period uniforms of the 1980s, when the Soviet Army fielded a wide range of trucks, armored vehicles and artillery tractors. The poses of the figures allow for placing them in a cab or beside a vehicle.
Hard plastic figures are glued with ordinary modeling cement for plastic. Wash the parts and apply a primer before painting. Paint with acrylics; bring the uniforms to life with khaki shades, gentle accentuation of the folds and a dry brush. Work the faces up with glazes for a natural skin tone.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
