Injection-molded plastic kit of the historic American car Ford Model T in the four-seat open touring form of 1910, in 1:24 scale from ICM. Unlike the two-seat roadster, the touring offers a roomier body with two rows of seats, side doors and a folding fabric roof. The kit has a detailed engine, axles, frame and interior, clear parts and period light-colored tires.
The Ford Model T, nicknamed the Tin Lizzie, was an American car built by Ford from 1908 to 1927. As the first mass-produced car on a moving assembly line, it brought the price of the motor car down so far that it came within reach of ordinary families. The touring body was the most widespread family variant: an open four-seater with a folding roof, suited to travel and to everyday use.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Finish and paint the frame, the engine and the axles before the final assembly. We recommend a primer and an airbrush; Model Ts were supplied mostly in black paint. Suggest the folding fabric roof and the upholstery with matching shades, pick out the brass and metal detail and underline the gaps with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
