An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern Italian light armored vehicle Iveco VTLM Lince (meaning lynx in Italian) in 1:35 scale from Italeri. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Lince (Iveco LMV) is a modern Italian light multirole 4x4 armored vehicle with a tough armored cab. It is often described as the European counterpart of the American Humvee, or as a vehicle of the MRAP class, designed with the emphasis on protecting the crew against mines and improvised charges. It has been deployed on a number of foreign missions, among others in Afghanistan and in Chad.
As with every military vehicle it pays to assemble and paint the chassis and the interior before the hull is closed. A thin cement for plastic, a coat of primer and an airbrush are recommended. Because it is a modern vehicle, do not overdo the weathering: a light soiling is enough, with fine dust on the chassis and the fenders, a wash into the recesses and discreet accenting of the edges. The exact number of parts and the package contents are stated in the enclosed instructions.
