This injection-molded plastic set from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM in 1:35 scale brings the typical armament and equipment of the French infantry of the First World War. It is neither a vehicle model nor figures themselves, but a supplementary set of weapons and gear with which you can enrich dioramas and figure scenes. Illustrated instructions with a suggested color scheme are usually included.
In the box you will find characteristic rifles, small arms and items of personal equipment such as helmets, packs, ammunition pouches, canteens and other soldier's gear. The parts suit rounding out figures and settings, where they complete a convincing period atmosphere of trench warfare.
Separate the small parts from the sprues carefully and clean them up with a sharp blade. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement. A primer base, painting with an airbrush or a brush and picking out the detail with a wash are the way to go. Bring the metal and the leather to life with a dry brush.
This is a supplementary set, not a finished model. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
