An injection-molded plastic figure set, ICM Zum Angriff vorwarts! — German assault infantry 1917–1918, in 1:35 scale, four figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set of four figures in 1:35 scale from ICM. It depicts German assault infantry (Sturmtruppen) of the end of the First World War — according to the manufacturer, one non-commissioned officer and three soldiers in dynamic attacking poses. The figures suit dioramas of the trench warfare of the Western Front.
The German assault detachments of 1917–1918 were specially trained units for breaking through enemy lines using infiltration tactics. They were marked by lighter equipment, gas masks, grenades and support weapons. The set captures their characteristic armament and their movement forward.
Use liquid cement for plastic and clean the joints up. Apply a primer before painting; faces and equipment are well brought out by shading and dry brushing. Paint in the field gray and the leather items with a brush, and oils and washes suit the weathering.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
