Injection-molded plastic kit of the German Henschel Hs 126A-1 reconnaissance and observation aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian brand ICM. The kit has finely engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit and observer's position, a full radial engine with its engine mount and framed glazing. The landing gear is enclosed by teardrop wheel spats. Take the exact contents of the package and the number of schemes from the instructions.
The Henschel Hs 126 was a two-seat parasol-wing reconnaissance aircraft that formed the backbone of close reconnaissance and artillery spotting for the Luftwaffe in the first years of the war. It was powered by a radial engine and the crew consisted of a pilot and an observer with a machine gun and a camera. A small number of the Hs 126A-1 version reached the Condor Legion in Spain as well, where the machines carried bomb racks. More modern and more versatile types gradually pushed it aside.
The cockpit and the observer's position are clearly visible - assemble and paint them before you close up the fuselage, and mask the framed glazing carefully. Paint the radial engine separately. Use thin liquid cement on the plastic, and fit the parasol wing struts so that the wing sits straight. Lay down a primer before painting; spray the typical German mottled camouflage with an airbrush and even the surface out with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
