The MiG-15 / MiG-15bis stencils CZECH decals in 1:48 scale hold technical lettering and maintenance markings in their Czech form, as the machines in Czechoslovak service carried them. They are not national insignia or large combat codes, but the small stencil markings around filler necks, intakes, covers and walkways. It is a decal accessory, not an airplane kit.
A kit usually adds only a few basic markings. Yet it is precisely a dense net of small stencils that turns a model into a machine somebody maintained day after day. Czechoslovakia built the MiG-15 under license as the S-102 and the bis version as the S-103, so lettering in Czech matches the real appearance of those aircraft.
Always lay the decals onto a glossy base, as a silvery frame of carrier film appears on matte paint. Cut them out close to the printing. Carry the small stencils over one at a time and help yourself with a damp brush, not with tweezers. Put a drop of decal softener under the decal so that it settles into the engraved lines. Once dry, give the surface a matte varnish, which hides the carrier film.
It is a decal accessory, not an airplane model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
