An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet high-speed reconnaissance aircraft MiG-25 RBT in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. It is a newer tooling with rich surface detail. The MiG-25 was a Soviet twin-engine aircraft famous for its exceptional speed and ceiling, powered by a pair of powerful turbojets. The RBT version was one of the reconnaissance modifications, fitted with cameras and systems for gathering intelligence. The airframe was built largely of steel so that it could withstand aerodynamic heating at high speeds, and it was fielded for rapid reconnaissance at great altitudes, where it was hard to intercept.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and fill and sand the seams. Paint and highlight the cockpit interior and the landing gear bays before you close up the fuselage, and glue the glazing with canopy glue. After a gloss clear coat and the decals, pick out the panel lines with a wash; add fine wear with an airbrush to the typical Soviet schemes.
