Aber – C wing armament for the Spitfire Mk.VIII to XVI (1:72) is a fine add-on set with turned brass barrels for models of British fighters in 1:72 scale.

This is not an aircraft model but an accurate aftermarket accessory from the Polish maker Aber. The set replaces the injection-molded plastic armament barrels with fine turned metal (brass) parts that give the armament of the C wing a realistic look and the correct muzzle profile. On the later Spitfires the universal C wing usually carried a combination of two 20 mm cannon and four .303 machine guns, or four cannon.
Suitable for more advanced modelers who want to sharpen the armament of their Spitfire model in 1:72 scale. The parts are usually glued with super glue and it is worth degreasing them before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
