Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the three-axle G4 staff car in the 1935 production version with a fabric roof, in 1:72 scale from ICM. The set is designed as snap fit (with no need for glue) and holds a detailed chassis, engine, interior and clear parts. Optional parts for the lowered roof are included as well.
The heavy off-road passenger car G4 was designed by Daimler-Benz in the mid-1930s. It stood on three axles, was powered by an eight-cylinder engine and offered six seats. Because of its high cost and complexity only a few dozen were built, and they served as prestige staff vehicles.
The snap fit design speeds the build up, but we still recommend securing the joints with a drop of cement for plastic and cleaning up the parting lines. Small parts are easier to paint while still on the sprue. An airbrush makes an even coat on the bodywork easier, and dark washes bring out the weathering of the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
