An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Revell, the Battle of Britain edition. It captures the early Ju 88 A-1 bomber version deployed over Great Britain in 1940. The kit offers a subdivided surface and decals for period Luftwaffe aircraft; the box and the instructions state the exact number of parts and schemes.
The Junkers Ju 88 was a German twin-engine multirole bomber and one of the most widespread aircraft of the Luftwaffe of the Second World War. The A-1 version was the early production bomber variant deployed during the Battle of Britain. The machine was marked by a glazed nose, a crew placed together and the ability to make a diving attack.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints down. Paint and fit the glazed nose and the cockpit before the fuselage is closed up; mask the small clear parts. For the period Luftwaffe camouflage an airbrush, a primer, decals over a gloss coat and a final unifying matte coat all work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
