This is not a model and not an accessory part but a decal sheet. It holds standard technical stencils, that is the small service markings, warning labels and legends scattered over the airframe, the landing gear bays and the covers of a real aircraft. According to the name it is the English version of the stencils, and the sheet covers the MiG-23ML, MiG-23MLA, MiG-23MLD, MiG-23P and MiG-23MLAE versions.
The MiG-23 is a single-engine combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing. The versions of the ML and MLA series came about by lightening the aircraft and modifying its equipment, the MLD was a further development version, and the designation P is carried by the variant for air defense. Given the number of versions, it is precisely the markings that tie a model to a particular machine.
First finish the model with paint and polish it with gloss varnish; on a matte surface the edges of the decals would go white. The stencils are small, so it pays to cut them off one at a time and carry them with tweezers or a moistened brush. On riveted and broken-up surfaces use a decal softener so that the decal is drawn into the engraved lines. At the end, even the surface out with matte or semi-gloss varnish, which hides the edges of the film.
