Special Hobby 1:72 P-40E Warhawk, the Tigers and Sharks boxing, is a plastic kit of the famous American fighter aircraft with striking markings.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the American Curtiss P-40E Warhawk fighter in 1:72 scale. The set holds injection-molded plastic parts, clear parts and alternative fine 3D-printed exhausts and antennas. The decal sheet offers striking markings for machines with painted tiger heads and shark mouths.
The P-40E was one of the main production versions of the famous Curtiss P-40 fighter, powered by an Allison V engine. The machines fought in many theaters and became famous for the bold artwork on their noses. American P-40Es and Canadian Kittyhawks also faced the Japanese in the harsh conditions of the Aleutians, among other places.
This is a kit of short-run character with fine 3D-printed parts, so expect careful cleaning up and dry-fitting. Glue the plastic with modeling cement and the 3D-printed parts with super glue. The striking noses with tigers and sharks show to best effect when the decals go over a gloss coat; mask the canopy glazing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
