A thatched country house (1:72, Zvezda) is a plastic kit of a diorama building for creating scenery and battlefields.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an injection-molded plastic kit of a diorama building in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The model represents a European country cottage with a characteristic thatched roof, whose timeless appearance suits scenes from the Middle Ages through to the Second World War and later periods. The parts are molded in several colors (walls, roof and trim), so the model can be assembled even without a complete paint job, although the full effect comes only with weathering and dry-brushing.
Thatched cottages were a common part of the European countryside for centuries and make a rewarding backdrop for dioramas with figures and equipment. The walls are made up of smaller segments, with recesses for windows and doors on the inner side.
Glue the parts with cement for plastic and fill the seams. The thatched roof comes out well with dry-brushed lighter ochers, and the plaster of the walls takes a coat of paint and local soiling with pigments. Complete the base with static grass and materials according to the scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
