A plastic kit of the light Soviet aircraft Yak-12A in its civilian form, 1:72 scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Yak-12 was a light multipurpose high-wing aircraft that in the postwar Soviet Union did the work for which a larger machine would have been unnecessary. It carried passengers and mail over short distances, served for liaison, for training and for work over the fields, and could do without a paved runway: it took off and landed on a short grass strip, which made it a common sight at small airfields. The Yak-12A version belongs to the later forms of the line and was the most widespread in civilian service. Power came from a piston engine with a propeller.
The kit captures the Yak-12A in 1:72 scale, that is in the most common scale of aircraft collections. The high-set strut-braced wing, the glazed cabin and the fixed landing gear give the finished model the character of a machine for everyday work, which makes a pleasant change from combat types in a display case. The number of parts, the finish options and the contents of the decal sheet are given by the maker on the box.
The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and other tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
