XF-63 German Grey 10ml

Tamiya XF-63 German Grey 10 ml

The matte acrylic modeling paint Tamiya XF-63 German Grey in a 10 ml pack. It is a dark gray shade (Panzergrau) that was the standard finish of German vehicles in the early phase of the Second World War. The XF range marks matte (flat) shades. The paint has a water-based acrylic base, is thinned with Tamiya X-20A thinner and suits brush and airbrush alike.

Use

• Applied with a brush or an airbrush; for the airbrush and a smooth film, thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A thinner.
• Ideal as the base tone of early German armored vehicles (tanks, armored cars) in the single-color Panzergrau finish.
• It serves well as a base for washes, for lightening edges with a dry brush and for pigments when weathering.
• Apply in thin coats; the acrylic dries quickly and once dry creates a matte, non-glossy surface.

Who it is for

For modelers building early German military vehicles of the Second World War who need a proven Panzergrau shade, and for everyone who works with acrylic paints by brush or airbrush.

Keep out of reach of children. Use the paint in a well ventilated space; protect your airways when airbrushing. Close the container properly after use.
