A package of six bases cut from clear acrylic three millimeters thick, in an oval shape measuring ninety by fifty-two millimeters. The cut edges are finished, so the base has no matte or ragged rim and looks like a finished product rather than a blank. Transparency is the main property here: the base optically disappears and the figure looks as though it were standing on its own.
Acrylic can be glued with cyanoacrylate glue, but take care: the fumes of cyanoacrylate leave a white milky film on clear acrylic that is hard to remove. Glue in a well ventilated space, therefore, with a minimum of glue, and preferably use the gel variant, which does not wick as much. If you want to finish the base with terrain, bear in mind that you will lose the transparency; an opaque version suits that better. Take the protective film off the surface only just before work, so that the acrylic is not scratched.
For players of wargames with larger figures, for collectors and for anyone who wants a model to stand on a base that is not seen.
Store out of the reach of children. Acrylic is brittle and can crack if dropped.
