Acrylic Bases - Round 40 mm CLEAR RED

Acrylic Bases - Round 40 mm CLEAR RED

Acrylic Bases - Round 40 mm CLEAR RED is a round gaming base 40 mm in diameter from the Spanish label Green Stuff World, in the CLEAR RED color version according to the name. It is a playing component, not a display base: the size of the base sets how much room a model takes up on the table, where movement and reach are measured from and how a unit holds its shape.

The red version as a distinction on the table

Colored bases are used in practice so that two sides, two squads or two states are recognizable at a glance and do not have to be told apart with markers. In this range red is the counterpart to the blue version of the same diameter, so both sets can be combined within one game. The diameter stays the same throughout, so the distinction changes nothing about the rules of measuring.

When to reach for it

• You need a round base exactly 40 mm in diameter.
• You want to tell a side, a squad or a model's state apart with the red version.
• You are completing a uniform set of bases for larger models.
• You are looking for a base for play, not a plinth for a display case.

Who it is for

For players of battle and skirmish games and for collectors who need base sizes brought into line across a whole collection. Take the size and the color designation from the name of the product; the number of pieces in the package and the thickness are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
