Majin Pink is a full saturated tone, not a white tinted toward pink. In the maker's range it stands between the reds and the wine shade, which matches the fact that it is a pink drawn out of red, not out of a light color. Modelers reach for it mainly on fantastical and alien skin, on the skin of large caricature characters, on the tongues and gums of animals and everywhere it is to be visible that the material is not human.
The second great area is magical and energy effects. A pink layer laid on the edge of a wizard's hands or into the middle of a portal reads as light, especially when a thin white area is put under it first. Without a white base, pink loses its brightness over a dark surface and rather goes gray.
It takes more advanced techniques too. The shade can be thinned into a glaze and used on the cheeks and joints of a figure as a hint of blood flow, or mixed with a flesh tone into a shade range of your own. The dropper makes dosing easier, because a pink of this saturation can pull a whole mixed batch markedly even in a small amount. On the palette, therefore, work with a smaller amount and add gradually until the tone sits with the surrounding areas of the model.
