An opaque acrylic ink in a 30 ml glass bottle, to which the manufacturer adds a dosing pipette. It is a very liquid formulation in which the pigments are dispersed in a thin acrylic binder. Unlike the transparent inks of the same range it covers at full strength and needs no thinning to do so. Once dry the coat is water-resistant.
Its liquidity is the main difference from an ordinary paint. The ink flows out by itself, gets into the texture of a surface and into narrow places and leaves no brush marks, but it is harder to stop on an edge, so it has to be dosed sparingly and worked over a protected surface.
For modelers and painters who need a saturated color in liquid form, that is where a thicker paint would cause trouble on a brush or in a nozzle. The 30 ml volume and the glass bottle with a pipette allow for the material being used up in larger quantities than a figure paint.
The ink is hard to remove once dry, so cover your working surface and wipe a spilled drop away at once. Work in a ventilated space and keep it out of reach of children.
