A dry modeling pigment from Abteilung 502 in the form of a very fine colored powder. It is neither a paint nor a kit, but a weathering product for adding patina. The Africa Earth shade is a warm ocher brown that evokes dry African and desert soil, making it ideal for dust deposits on vehicles used in North Africa and the Middle East. The pigment is supplied in a jar and applied dry with a soft brush; it settles in the recesses, the engraved lines and the horizontal surfaces as a fine film of dust. Finally it is sealed.
For modelers of armored vehicles and for diorama builders who are depicting desert and African service and want convincing warm dust. Working with pigments is easy even for beginners.
This is a weathering pigment (a fine powder), not a paint. Do not inhale the dust, work carefully in a well-ventilated space, ideally with respiratory protection.
