A set of precisely cast resin barrels of the on-board armament for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a detail accessory to replace the parts from the kit, not a model of the aircraft. Thin and straight barrels with finely suggested mouths will take the place of the chunkier plastic parts and sharpen up the look of the nose and the cowling.
The Bf 109F Friedrich was a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War, valued for an aerodynamically cleaned-up airframe and good flying qualities. Its armament was arranged in the nose and around the engine, so faithful barrels are an easily visible detail.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and glue them on with super glue. Handle the thin barrels carefully, they are fragile. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. The kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
