Responsibility details are not available.
A loose pigment colorant from the Aging Enamel Powder range of the U-STAR brand. The name of the shade is given in the name of the product and points to the world of robot and sci-fi kits, but the powder itself is an ordinary weathering pigment usable on any model. Check the volume, the composition and the recommended processing on the box.
A color accent in weathering
Weathering does not have to be only in brown and gray tones. A strongly colored pigment is used differently from earth shades: it is not applied over large areas but in spots, in selected places where the eye is meant to catch a difference. A few such accents can bring a whole model to life, while overusing them turns it into an incoherent blotchy surface.
The rule that works is to keep color accents in the minority and to repeat them in at least two or three places on the model. A single isolated patch of color looks like an accident; a repeated motif looks like intent. Colored pigments also go well with the muted shades of the same range, which can tone an overly strong accent back down at any time.
For builders of robot and sci-fi models and for anyone who wants tones other than earth colors in the drawer. A colored pigment is a tool for shaping the character of a model, not for overall weathering.
A loose powder: do not inhale it, work over a surface and out of a draft, and wash your hands after work. Keep out of the reach of children.
