Modeling screws with a cone head and an internal hex, 0.8 mm in size.
Responsibility details are not available.
Engine covers, clutch covers and flange caps are held by a ring of screws spaced around the circumference. On a model this ring tends to be suggested only by shallow recesses, or it is missing altogether, and yet it is what gives a smooth surface its scale: only by the size of the heads does a viewer tell how large a piece he is actually looking at.
These are screws with a cone head and an internal hex, in the 0.8 mm size. An internal hex is the most common head on the covers and accessories of motorcycles, so it suits most of the places where a smooth surface would look empty. A cone head sits lower than a hexagon head and does not come across as massive.
Lay the spacing of the ring out first and prick it lightly, otherwise the gaps will drift as you go around and the asymmetry will then show more than a missing detail. Pre-drill the holes with a bit matching the size and try the parts dry. If they have no thread, glue them into the hole. Dose the glue with a piece of wire, not straight from the bottle; an excess creeps under the head and rounds off an edge that is meant to be sharp.
They will be appreciated by builders of motorcycles and other machinery who take a model to the state where it will stand a close look even on surfaces where the detail could easily be left out.
The package holds the screws only. A model, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
