0.7 millimeters is the largest of the fine diameters of this line. A lowered hexagon head for detailing model motorcycles.
Responsibility details are not available.
0.7 mm makes up the upper limit of the fine part of the program. After it comes 0.8 mm, and that is already the start of the second, coarser half of the grid. That boundary is no accident: it divides the sizes that make up the background of the detail on a model from those that draw the eye by themselves.
The head has a lowered profile, that is something between a flat and a full hexagon. At 0.7 mm that compromise shows the most – the part is large enough for the face of the head to be legible once painted, and still it does not stand out so much that it could be knocked off by mistake while the surroundings are sanded.
It is with this step that it is worth thinking over whether to reach for the package of fine diameters. Anyone building for the first time usually underrates how much smaller the joints on a real machine are than they seem in a photograph, and ends up reaching for the smaller size. The package brings the three fine steps together, so a mistake will not stop your work. A separate item suits the opposite case: when you already know that this diameter is the one that fits you and you need to top it up.
Let the part level itself by its own weight while being seated and draw the tweezers away before the glue flashes off. Pressing always drives 0.7 millimeters deeper than you want.
