The second item in the range of basic photo-etched elements from the Master Tools brand. The sheet offers circular shapes that a modeler will use wherever a missing detail needs adding, a coarsely molded plastic part needs refining or a component of one's own needs building. The set is not tied to a particular kit or scale. The range contains several numbered items; which specific dimensions and shapes each one carries is stated on the box.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not with nippers, so that the edge does not get bent. For bending, use a photo-etch bender or two razor blades and bend along the etched groove. They are glued with superglue applied in the smallest possible quantity; on larger areas applying the glue with a pin has proved itself. Before painting, degrease the metal and use a primer for metal surfaces, otherwise the paint will not hold and will rub off during handling.
It suits modelers who like adding parts of their own to models, and diorama builders. Given the size of the elements and the need to work with a scalpel and superglue, we recommend it rather to more advanced modelers with the patience for fine work.
