Mr.Paint BSC No.64 Portland Stone

This is a solvent-based modeling lacquer, not a water-thinnable acrylic. It comes in a bottle of 30 ml, it is pre-thinned and it is intended primarily for application with an airbrush. The shade corresponds to the British desert color Portland Stone, used in the early desert camouflage schemes of British armored vehicles in the Second World War.

Use

• It is sprayed with an airbrush straight from the bottle, with a 0.3 mm nozzle usually without further thinning (pressure roughly 10 to 25 PSI).
• It is applied in thin coats over a primer; the coats dry quickly.
• It is thinned and the airbrush is cleaned with Mr.Paint lacquer thinner, NEVER with water.
• The surface once dry is satin to semi-gloss; it can be overcoated with a compatible varnish before decals.
