A set of four barrels intended to be sunk into the terrain, the third variant of the range. An accessory for dioramas in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds four barrels intended to be sunk into the terrain. A sunken barrel is a rewarding element in a scene: it suggests that someone used the place over a long time without taking up as much room as a whole wreck or a building. It is used as a roadblock, as a barrier against driving through, as an improvised stone guard post and as the remnant of a dump. Four pieces in the package are enough for a row to be built from them or for them to be spread out over the area of a scene.
This is the third variant of buried barrels. The individual variants differ from one another in the shape and the degree of damage of the barrels, so they can be combined side by side and the scene does not look repetitive. It is an accessory for dioramas in 1:35 scale.
First spread the barrels out dry and only then make beds for them in the terrain, so that the sunken part disappears below the surface and only the visible part stays above it. Sprinkle the transition into the terrain with the same material as the surroundings, otherwise a noticeable edge will remain. What the parts are made of is stated on the packaging; choose the glue according to the actual form and go by the instructions from the manufacturer. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent before painting, degrease them and let them dry. Build the rust and the chipped paint in thin layers from the top downward, from lighter metal to darker coats, and finally join them at the foot with the color of the terrain.
The package holds four barrels. A diorama, a base, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
