A chestnut brown shade from the Mr.Paint line for the camouflage schemes of the Soviet aircraft MiG-23, MiG-29, Su-22 and Su-25. A 30 ml bottle, ready for airbrush spraying.
Responsibility details are not available.
Chestnut brown is one of the tones that make up the multicolor camouflage schemes of combat aircraft of Eastern origin. The manufacturer lists it directly for the MiG-23, MiG-29, Su-22 and Su-25, that is for machines whose upper finish combines brown and green areas with gray or blue undersides. For the modeler it is a shade that is hard to mix by eye, because in a finished coat it looks different from the way it does on the palette.
The paint comes thinned for spraying and needs no further thinning with a 0.3 mm nozzle. For fine lines and lower pressure use the MRP-T thinner from the same line. It is sprayed over a base coat at a pressure of roughly 10 to 25 psi, in several thin coats. It dries quickly, so the next field of the camouflage can be sprayed soon afterward. The line is intended for the airbrush, not for a brush.
With multicolor schemes, plan the order of the shades from lightest to darkest first, so that a dark area does not have to be overpainted. The boundaries on these types tend to be soft, so freehand spraying at reduced pressure or a template held above the surface works well. Lay a gloss clear coat over the area before the decals and even the surface out with a matte one when you are done. Stir the paint left in the bottle thoroughly before the next use, as the pigment settles.
The package contains one bottle of paint of 30 ml. The thinner, base coat, clear coats and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
