A special release of the distorted kit of the modern Japanese tank Type 10 from the line of cute models of the company Fujimi. The model has deliberately shortened proportions with a large turret — it is not a scale kit but a playful caricature. According to the name this package refers to the machines of the tank training unit of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), where tank crews are trained.
The Type 10 is the main battle tank of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, taken into service in 2012. It carries a gun of 120 mm, modular armor and a modern fire control system; compared with its predecessors it is lighter and more mobile so as to suit the Japanese road network. It is one of the most modern tanks that have appeared in distorted model form.
The build is simple and quick. Japanese tanks wear the typical two-tone camouflage of brown and green with soft transitions — on a small model it can be suggested with a brush as well. Apply the decals onto a gloss base and seal them with a matte coat. Modern machines tend to be well maintained, so go easy on the weathering — a light dust tone on the chassis is enough.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
