A modeling product for surface finishing in a clear green form. The method of application and the recommended use are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
Translucent green is one of the shades that find no use on large areas of a model but come into their own on small details. It is used on position and signal lights, on glazing with a colored tint, on the colored cover lens of an instrument, or wherever a metal surface is meant to show through the paint and give the impression of a color-anodized finish. All these places have one thing in common: it has to stay transparent, otherwise the effect disappears.
Translucent shades behave differently from opaque ones. The resulting color depends on what is underneath, so over a dark surface the green comes out deep and somber, while over a light, glossy one it stays fresh. Prepare the surface smooth, clean and degreased; any dirt or scratch will remain visible under the translucent layer.
For the exact method of application, the drying time and any thinning, follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and in the leaflet. Before you start on the model, try the result on an offcut or on a piece of leftover sprue from a kit and judge the shade against the light, not on the table. With translucent shades a mistake cannot be painted over without losing the transparency.
For modelers who are finishing small colored details and want to keep them translucent.
