The three-shade palette of the Cobra Motor Spanish Teams Vol.1 Set holds white, orange and red, the combination made famous by the Spanish sponsor livery on racing machines.

The Spanish Teams Vol.1 set from AMMO of Mig Jimenez holds three bottles of the Cobra Motor automotive line: a clean white and a pair of shades named after a Spanish fuel sponsor, an orange and a red. These three make up one of the most easily recognized liveries ever to appear on a circuit.
The combination of a white base with an orange and a red field has held for decades and has passed through several generations of machines without losing its shape. For the modeler the order is the key thing: the white makes up the base over the whole surface, and only then are the colored fields masked onto it. The designation Vol.1 indicates that this is the first part of a wider sub-range devoted to Spanish teams.
Start with a filler primer and sand the surface, because white brings out every irregularity. Spray the white in several very thin coats until it covers, and let it cure thoroughly. Only then comes the masking; for rounded transitions a narrow kabuki tape works well. The orange and the red are demanding in pigment, so expect them to come out best over a white base. Take the thinner and the cleaner from the same line.
The box holds colors only; the model and decals are not part of it.
