A Hataka modeling paint from the Orange Line range, the Colza Yellow shade, that is a rapeseed yellow to the RAL 1021 chart.
Responsibility details are not available.
Colza Yellow is a rapeseed yellow shade listed in the RAL chart under number 1021. It is a saturated warm yellow, the one you know from agricultural and municipal vehicles, from warning features and from stripes on markings. The reference to the RAL chart is practical: the shade can be compared with a real subject and with the paints of other manufacturers.
The paint belongs to the Orange Line range from Hataka. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and use the thinner made for this range, otherwise the coat may curdle or dry badly. A small test on a piece of scrap plastic will take the uncertainty away before you touch the model.
Yellow shades generally cover weakly, because they contain light pigments. It pays to lay a light base under them, ideally a white one, and then to apply the paint in two to three thin coats. Let the surface set between coats. A heavy coat will cover the base faster, but it fills in the fine relief of the model. Stir the bottle well before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom. Clean brushes and the airbrush right after work, while the paint is still wet.
The shade will be used by builders of civil and construction vehicles, agricultural machinery and models where warning markings appear. It also serves on small features of military and aircraft models where yellow stripes or warning areas appear.
The thinner, brushes and other tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
