This collector's figure in resin from the Czech manufacturer ROP o.s. depicts a Cossack ataman in a uniform of the Second World War period. The set is meant to be assembled and painted by the modeler and suits more experienced modelers and figure painters.
Ataman was a command title among Cossack formations. During the Second World War some Cossack units served within the German Wehrmacht. The figure renders an officer with the uniform and equipment features of the period; the subject is treated factually and historically, as material for modelers and collectors of militaria.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and dry-fit them. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect your breathing while sanding. A primer and color built up in thin coats are recommended; you will render the uniform, the face and the fur cap with oils or acrylics, shading the shadows and highlights.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
