A sheet of pre-cut Artwox Model masking tape 0.5 mm wide is a universal modeling aid for masking very thin lines, for which tape would be hard to cut from a roll.

This is neither a kit nor a part for a model but consumable masking material. On a carrier sheet there are pre-cut strips of masking tape of a uniform width of 0.5 mm, which are peeled off and transferred straight onto the model. The width is constant along the whole length, which is practically unachievable when cutting by hand from a roll. The set is universal and is not tied to any particular kit or scale.
The finest widths are the hardest to lay, because they stretch easily and the line is then not straight. Never put a strip under tension, therefore; lay it on loosely and only then press it down with a blunt wooden stick or a toothpick. On a curve, lead the tape in short sections and rather join lengths than bend it by force. Press the edge down especially carefully where paint could creep under it. Apply the paint in thin coats and at right angles to the edge, not along it. Take the tape off at a sharp angle back over itself and while the paint is freshly dry, not after several days.
