Dark Gray (FS 36118), Mr.Paint

A pre-thinned modeling lacquer paint from Mr.Paint intended for airbrush application only. The shade matches the dark gray Gunship Gray to the Federal Standard 595 (FS 36118), one of the most widely used colors on modern American military equipment; it is used above all on the upper surfaces of US Air Force tactical aircraft (the F-15E and A-10 among others) and on a number of other machines. The paint is ready to spray straight from the bottle, it has a fine pigment and good covering power, it dries fast and it leaves a semi-gloss surface.

• The dark gray features of multi-color US Air Force camouflage schemes
• It is applied with an airbrush in thin coats, ideally over a good primer
• Thin it if needed with the matching thinner for lacquer paints from the same brand
