A modeling paint from the Hataka Orange Line in a dark gray flat shade, carried under the numbers FS 36231 and ANA 621.
Responsibility details are not available.
The dark gray shade known as Dark Gull Grey, carried under two numbers at once: FS 36231 and ANA 621. The three at the start of the FS 595 number means a flat finish, and the second digit places the shade among the gray tones. The abbreviation ANA refers to an older American aeronautical color standard, which the FS 595 standard later replaced; the double number therefore describes one and the same tone in two numbering systems. The paint belongs to the Orange Line of the Hataka brand.
Older references and profile drawings work with ANA numbers, newer ones with FS numbers. When the bottle carries both numbers, the shade can be traced in sources that use only one of the systems, and there is no arguing about whether it is the same tone.
Stir the contents thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom in storage. Thin it with the thinner intended for this line and in the ratio the manufacturer states on the packaging; a thinner from elsewhere may curdle the paint. Apply it in several thin coats rather than one heavy one, so that the engraving stays legible. A flat surface picks fingerprints up easily, so it is better to handle the finished part with a glove.
The thinner, clear coat, brushes and a model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
