Dark Sand 17ml

AK Interactive Dark Sand 17 ml

Dark Sand is an acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics range in a darker sand tone. It is a water-thinnable acrylic in a bottle of 17 ml with a lasting matte finish once dry. The shade belongs among the warm earthy sand colors that suit desert finishes on equipment as well as terrain and base surfaces.

Use

• It is thinned with clean water or an acrylic thinner; lacquer (cellulose) thinner is not used.
• For a brush a light thinning is enough; for an airbrush thin the paint to a runnier consistency.
• It is applied in thin coats over a cured primer for even coverage.
• Suitable for desert camouflage, terrain and as a base for later washes and pigments.

Who it is for

For modelers building military and civilian equipment in a desert finish and for making dioramas, who will appreciate a matte acrylic with no smell that thins with water.

Keep out of reach of children. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Work in a ventilated room.
