Kyojuro Rengoku is one of the striking characters of Demon Slayer and among the most conspicuous in color: the combination of colorful hair, uniform and cloak is both an advantage and a challenge for a model. That is exactly why Bandai divides this line into a large number of colored parts, so that the character looks complete even without a coat of paint.
The basic build is a matter of nippers and a little time. Anyone who wants to go higher has plenty of room with this character: unifying the sheen with varnish is the single most effective step, because semi-gloss plastic starts to behave like cloth and skin after a matte varnish. The transitions on the cloak and the hair can be brought out with a very thin dark shade running into the folds, but work in small amounts and wipe off the excess. An airbrush is not necessary; with figures a good brush and patience will get you a long way. Leave the fine work on the face until the very end, when you already know how the whole thing looks.
The build goes ahead by snapping pre-colored parts together. Paints and glue are not needed, and finishing with varnish is entirely up to you.
