HEKI Wild Grass Mat, Forest Floor, 40x24 cm, 2 pcs are two mats in muted tones.
Responsibility details are not available.
Two grass mats from the German maker HEKI, each measuring forty by twenty-four centimeters, in the muted tone of a forest floor. Together that is almost two thousand square centimeters, which in a forest scene amounts to a decent stretch of growth. In color it is a green shading into brown, of the kind that grows in the shade under tree crowns, where grass never gets enough light to deepen in color.
Apply spray adhesive to a new base and press the mat down; on an area already grassed the fibers hold even without glue. In a forest do not cover the whole area continuously, as a real forest floor has grass only in islands where light gets through. Between the islands leave bare soil, leaf granulate and twigs. With a large format the temptation to cover the area in one go is greatest, which is exactly why it pays to tear the mat up first.
For builders of forest layouts and dioramas and for modelers who need muted greenery over a larger area. Two mats in the box are enough for the material to be divided between a forest and its edge. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
