A finished die-cast collector's model of the small Japanese sports Mazda AZ-1 in the Liberty Walk LB40 widebody conversion with the Pilot livery in blue. The 1:64 scale miniature from MINI GT is supplied painted and assembled. It is not a kit.
The Mazda AZ-1 is a kei sports car of the 1990s with gullwing doors and a mid-mounted engine. The conversion by the Japanese studio Liberty Walk (LB-Works) adds aggressive widebody fenders, aerodynamic elements and a lowered suspension, which turn the tiny car into a striking piece. The Pilot version carries bold race-styled graphics.
The model has a metal body and chassis, faithful wheels with rubber tires, a well-worked interior and fine body fittings including the widebody kit. The workmanship matches the collector's standard of 1:64 scale.
